LinkedIn “Strangeness”

I noticed some personal LinkedIn “Strangeness” that I wasn’t aware off. Apparently I now am a proud owner of an Apple iPhone (I am not b.t.w.) and I magically add comments without spending any energy (I wish I could)… A new form of “LinkedIn” spam, I guess, I wasn’t aware off.

If you actually would click the “Learn More” URL/link then it shows you a nice add about Apple iPhones…

LinkedIn Spam

LinkedIn: Probably a profitable move for you guys, but not a nice one seen from a personal view… B.t.w. I have a Apple Touch and downloaded the LinkedIn app. but this still doesn’t magically make my Touch an iPhone (I wish it would)

🙁

Well, I own neither an iPod Touch nor an iPhone, but I would speculate that, since the iPod Touch is essentially an iPhone without the phone abilities but with the same software features, that the LinkedIn for iPhone software doesn’t know how to (or doesn’t care to) distinguish between an iPhone and an iPod Touch.

    I don’t think there’s anything sinister going on….
