		<description>I have an openSUSE 10.3 running in a VM here and I wanted to point out that the files in my /etc/sysconfig/network/ directory don&#039;t have the MAC address listed. Instead, the files are called

ifcfg-eth0
ifcfg-eth2
ifcfg-lo

It may be useful for some to point out that for this SUSE VM, after losing my ethernet interface from being listed by ifconfig, restarting the network service ( with /etc/init.d/network restart ) brought it back up even after it wouldn&#039;t reappear after I rebooted the VM.</description>
